Refund and Cancellation Policy

  1. Subject and Scope
    This Policy defines the procedure for refunds and cancellations of orders, services, and subscriptions provided by Lawvia s.r.o., registered office Račianska 14350/64C, 831 02 Bratislava – mestská časť Nové Mesto, Company ID 57 069 077, via the website www.lawvia.sk.
    This Policy forms an integral part of the General Terms of Service and applies to all distance contracts concluded with Consumers and Clients.

  2. Right of Withdrawal

    1. The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without stating any reason, provided that the service or product has not yet been activated.

    2. If the Consumer has given consent to the immediate provision of a digital service before the expiry of this period, the right of withdrawal is lost after the service has been fully provided in accordance with Section 19(1)(a)(2) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll.

    3. The withdrawal notice shall be sent to info@lawvia.sk or by post to the company’s address. The period shall be deemed observed if the notice is sent before the 14-day period expires.

  3. Refunds

    1. Lawvia s.r.o. shall refund all payments received under the contract without undue delay, but no later than 14 days from receipt of the withdrawal notice.

    2. Refunds shall be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed. Such refunds shall not result in any additional costs to the User.

    3. The Company is not obliged to refund any additional costs if the User has chosen a delivery or payment method other than the standard one offered by Lawvia s.r.o.

    4. If the User requested the service to commence during the withdrawal period, they shall pay a proportional amount for the services actually provided up to the time of withdrawal.

  4. Subscriptions and Tariff Plans

    1. Subscriptions are provided for a specified period (e.g., 12 months) and automatically renewed unless the User cancels the renewal X days before the end of the paid period.

    2. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid period; fees already paid are non-refundable, except where the service was not provided due to Lawvia s.r.o.’s fault.

    3. The User may cancel automatic renewal via their user account or by notifying info@lawvia.sk.

    4. For an upgrade (switch to a higher plan), the User pays the price difference proportionally to the unused period.

    5. For a downgrade (switch to a lower plan), the change takes effect from the start of the next paid period, and no refund is issued.

  5. Lawvia s.r.o.’s Right to Cancel or Withdraw
    Lawvia s.r.o. reserves the right to cancel an order or withdraw from a contract if:

    1. the provision of the service or product is objectively impossible;

    2. the relevant services are discontinued;

    3. force majeure circumstances occur;

    4. the User has provided false information. In such cases, payments already made will be refunded within 14 days using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

  6. These General Terms and Conditions are drawn up in three language versions: Slovak, Russian, and English.
    In the event of any discrepancies between the versions, the Slovak text shall prevail and shall be considered the original and legally binding version. The Russian and English versions are provided for information and user convenience only.

  8. Final Provisions
    This Policy enters into force on the date of its publication on the website www.lawvia.sk and applies to all orders and subscriptions made after that date.
    Any matters not covered by this Policy are governed by the General Terms of Service and the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic.
